Teleportation

Player teleport requests, back teleport, and force teleport commands.

TPA System

The TPA system lets players request to teleport to each other. Requests have a configurable timeout, cooldown, and warmup, and can be blocked per-world or cancelled by movement.

Command Description
/tpa <player> Request to teleport to a player.
/tpahere <player> Request a player to teleport to you.
/tpaccept [player] Accept an incoming teleport request.
/tpdeny [player] Deny an incoming teleport request.
/tpcancel [player] Cancel an outgoing teleport request you sent.
/tpatoggle [player] Toggle whether you receive TPA requests. Targeting a player ignores them specifically.
/tpaignore <player> Ignore TPA requests from a specific player.
/tpaqueue View your pending incoming and outgoing teleport requests.
Teleport warmups can be configured per-command type. If a player moves during the warmup, the teleport is cancelled and the cooldown is still consumed. Players with the essentialsc.teleport.warmup.bypass permission skip warmups entirely.

Back & Death Back

Command Description
/back Return to your previous location after a teleport or death.
/dback Teleport to your last death location.

/back stores the location before every teleport (including TPA, warp, home, spawn) and on death. The death location is tracked separately so /dback always takes you to where you died, even if you've teleported since then.

/back and /dback each have their own cooldown and warmup settings. Both can be disabled entirely by setting their cooldown to -1.

Teleport Commands

Command Description Permission
/tphere <player> Teleport a player to your current location. essentialsc.tphere
/tphereall Teleport all online players to your location. essentialsc.tphereall
/tpoffline <player> Teleport to an offline player's last known logout location. essentialsc.tpoffline
/top Teleport to the highest block directly above you. essentialsc.top
Force teleport commands (/tphere, /tphereall) bypass TPA entirely - the target player does not receive a request and cannot deny it.

Configuration

Teleport settings live in config.yml under the teleport section.

Key Type Default Description
teleport.tpa.cooldown Seconds 10 Cooldown between TPA requests.
teleport.tpa.warmup Seconds 3 Delay before the teleport executes.

teleport.back.cooldown Seconds 30 Cooldown for /back. Set to -1 to disable.
teleport.cancel-on-move Boolean true Whether moving during warmup cancels the teleport.
teleport.blocked-worlds List [] Worlds where TPA requests are not allowed.
